Cheese Ore is a Moon-specific resource and it is the only natural source of food on the moon. It is Found in veins below the surface, the ore can be mined to drop cheese curds, which can then be crafted into cheese. Curds can also be eaten straight away.
Cheese ore is yellow, and bears a slight resemblance to gold ore.
To mine it, it requires a Heavy Duty Pickaxe or better, such as a Diamond pick. A pickaxe with Silk Touch can obtain the ore blocks which can be smelted in a furnace to obtain cheese curds.
