A Teleporter is a block used for instant travel within and between dimensions. A functional multi-block teleporter requires Teleporter Frame.
A multi-block teleporter is built using a Teleporter at the bottom, with Teleporter Frames 4 high to the left and right, and at the top. It must also be powered, either from a battery or external power source.
To use a multi-block Teleporter you either need a Portable Teleporter or another multi-block Teleporter in the world.
If you travelling from a multi-block Teleporter then it must be sufficiently charged, either from an internal battery or external connection. A Teleporter block will draw power into its own internal buffer when connected. If you are using a Portable Teleporter then it must be charged inside an Energy Cube. Once charged both teleporter types must be set to the frequency of the destination teleporter (a four digit code combination) in order to send the player to the correct teleporter. Only two teleporters can use the same frequency, once more two teleporters are set to the same frequency, all of them will stop working.
To open the GUI of a teleporter, shift-right-click on the block, this lets the player see the internal power level and adjust the frequency.
A teleporter's power consumption follows a set formula:
- (1,000 + (distance x 10)) x numberOfEntities)=Power needed (J)
An additional 10,000J (or 10kJ) is needed to teleport between dimensions.
